Message from the President

We have been caring for the mind and body of patients at Royal Bungosou Hospital for fifty years. We are proud to be the oldest private psychiatric hospital in Ibaraki prefecture. As a psychiatrist, I have a deep empathy for those who suffer from mental illness. It is my aim to provide a pleasant and relaxing therapeutic atmosphere for our patients.

Recently our primary departments including internal medicine, neurology, rehabilitation, and dentistry and our nursing home have moved to a new, adjacent facility. We are experts in psychiatric care using the latest treatments and drug therapies. Royal Bungosou Hospital is located in the picturesque town of Yasato. We believe that our expertise in unison with the natural beauty of Yasato provides the perfect setting to nurture our patients mind, body and spirit.
